Dispersal: Documenting the Recent Past
From 2006 to 2008, Marion Davies and Debra Rapp, two independent photographers, visited over 70 businesses that were located on the Olympic site in Stratford.
From zinc galvanizing to sheepskin-coat making, they recorded the various industries and captured the atmosphere of this area at a unique moment in time.
The photographs are previously unpublished and form a substantial resource.
The Museum of London has acquired a number of images for their archives and a selection of prints is currently on show at the H. Forman & Son factory on Fish Island, opposite the new Olympic stadium..
